MILITARY SPECIFICATION
GRINDING MACHINES, CYLINDRICAL, EXTERNAL, CENTER TYPE
UNIVERSAL, TRAVELING TABLE
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of
the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This Specification covers electric motor driven, floor mounted,
horizontal spindle, internal and external, cylindrical,
universal grinding
machines
with equipment and accessories
specified in section 3. The
requirements set forth in this specification and the completed ordering data
(paragraph 6.2) establish the Government's minimum requirements for each
procurement.
1.2 Classification. The grinding machine shall be of the following sizes.
The sizes to be furnished shall be as specified (see 3.5 and 6.2).
